Eden is inspired by a really beautiful garden designed by the multi award winning Cleve West. I saw the garden last year at the world famous Chelsea Flower Show and loved it so much that I produced several paintings from it, including an original pastel called Eden ( pic sent) that formed the centre piece of my recent 25th Year Celebration Exhibition. I wanted this fabric collection to echo all that I love about Cleve's garden designs, so it has all the softness of Eden with warm colours and quiet prints, combined with snippets of bolder colours. I particularly like the picnic check as it compliments Eden and reminds me of family days out on long summer days. |
