Annette Tatum

Born in Los Angeles, Annette Tatum graduated from UCLA with a degree in design. Her studies included sculpture, textile design, mixed media and collage. After graduating from UCLA, she worked for Tocca Casa, and several other designers, where she cultivated her passion for fashion and textile design. She is inspired everyday by textiles from around the world and by her family at home. Annette lives in Santa Monica, California with her husband and four children.

The house that Annette built.

Ten years ago, Annette Tatum set out to break down the walls of traditional bedrooms by introducing her first line of bedding and loungewear. Her philosophy was simple: comfort and style when combined just right, are the keys to creating an inviting room that’s inspired, as well as inspiring. She believes the house should feel passionate through the use of colors, textures and patterns. To this day, house remains true to Annette’s original vision.

House is where you will find clean, beautiful designs that are always comfortable, though never predictable. Colorful fabrics that work together in surprising and unexpected ways. The magic of house is in the mixing and matching of different patterns, prints and textures to create a room all your own. Satin, linen and chenille make wonderful bedfellows. The collection has grown from bedding and loungewear to include home accessories, baby... and more.

To date, house has two new signature retail stores in Santa Monica, CA. You can also find house at fine retailers like ABC Carpet and Home in NYC, Room Service in Texas, and hundreds of other fine retail boutiques in the US, Australia, Singapore, and the UK to name a few. For more store locations visit our website at www.houseinc.com.
